Brothers Andy and Nick Norton acquired Wild Willy's Worcester in August 2012 from previous owners Bob and Jan Stein. The location, friendly, and family atmosphere was exactly the type restaurant they wanted to own.
Co-Owner Andy Norton
Andy brings 12+ years of restaurant experience, in both Management and ownership. He started out by working in various restaurants gaining valuable experience, which lead to a management level at high volume restaurants. but his real passion was to own and operate his own stores, so in 2004 he opened Cook's Cornerstone, a Pizza and Seafood restaurant in Monson, MA. After watching the business grow, he sold the restaurant after two years and began working on his next venture. He later acquired Charlie's Pizza and Seafood in Ware, MA (his hometown) and again began to grow the business throughout the Western MA community. At the peak of business, Andy decided to sell the restaurant three years after taking over. After a short time off period and with his brother returning from the West Coast, they found Wild Willy's Worcester which had the model and feel they were looking for. Andy earned his associates degree in Business Management from Springfield Technical Community College. He enjoys sports, playing poker, jet skiing and hanging out with his dog Rocco.
Co-Owner Nick NortonNick recently moved back to Massachusetts after spending the last 12 years in both the South and on the West Coast. He brings both Marketing and Sales skills to the business, as the past five years he has been a Marketing Manager for a fortune five hundred company in both the Los Angeles and Phoenix areas. Prior to that, Nick worked as a Sales Consultant for both the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks, learning how to sell and provide exceptional customer service. While attending college, Nick worked in various restaurants as both a waiter and a cook and continues to learn the restaurant business every day. Nick earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Clemson University in South Carolina in 2004. His passion outside of work is sports, especially being a diehard Clemson Tiger Football and New York Yankees fan, but also loves playing poker, trips to warm destinations and making sure he has plenty of time with his Vizsla Lizzie.
Andy and Nick formed the corporation (Norton restaurant Group, LLC) in 2012 and have future plans to open and operate additional restaurants. Both are natives of Ware, MA.
