Moving to New England from the Midwest with Bob and our toddler, Lydia, in1980 was exciting, frightening and life changing for both of us. We left Madison, WI, our college home and came to Worcester, MA to join Bob's brother in a new business-- building windmills. I think we were adventurous and slightly crazy then, and I don't think we've ever lost that spirit. In between windmills and Wild Willy's we added Abraham to our family and both Lydia and Abe are thriving young adults of whom Bob and I are truly proud. Also during that time, for nearly 16 years I owned and directed the Sylvan Learning centers first in Natick and then in Worcester. It was a rewarding experience to change the lives of Children and their families and also to work with a dedicated, talented team of educators. I'm equally excited about the staff we've assembled at Wild Willy's as well as the great fare we offer, of course. I hope you and your family will join us soon.

This is retirement! Opening Wild Willy's is another new career for me; careers that extend back to graduate student jobs in Continuing Education and Counseling & Guidance at the University of Wisconsin during the 1970's, to windmill manufacturing in Millbury, MA in the early 80's and for 20 years, the teaching of physics, math and technology coordination at Bancroft School in Worcester. During my time at Bancroft I additionally coached softball, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball. For 3 years I also coached volleyball at Assumption College in Worcester. During our time in New England, Jan and I have seen our children grow up to young adulthood.
